
If you’re a fan of graphic novels and you are a handy illustrator and designer then this is the competition for you!
The guest cartoonist/judge for the graphic novel is the 2009 winner Jason Winter. Prizes are donated by Graphic Comic Book Store, Cuba Street, Wellington.
Details of competition:
- The competition runs for 4 weeks, from Monday 26th July to Friday 20th August.
- On Monday each week you need to read the story so far in your age category and decide what should happen next.
- Illustrate the next 4 frames of the story and upload to the site
- Your images should be saved as jpegs or gifs as RGB files and the filename should not include spaces or special characters
- You must upload your images to the Library Week website by 9am each Monday morning.
- A winner will be chosen each Monday morning and their work will be made a permanent part of the story. All other entries will be removed from the site.
- There are two age categories for this competition, 13 – 18 yrs and 19 + yrs.
