Wednesday 12th August 2009, 10.30am
At 10.30am on Wednesday 12th August children, librarians, parents and teachers will gather in libraries all across the country for this very special Library Week event.
The story we will be reading this year is Itiit's Gift by New Zealand author Melanie Drewery, illustrated by Fifi Colston. This title is available in english or te reo.
"Itiiti's Gift is a story about a girl who feels small and clumsy and shy next to her big, jumbly family who are all loud and tall and good at things. When her mum tells Itiiti that she has her own gift, Itiiti sets out to find it. To her surprise, her gift finds her!"
